It is a well-known fact that a lot of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and high-speed communication Local Area Networks (LANs) are necessary for Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Original equipment manufacturers (OEM) are interested in introducing CAN-FD on vehicles for its high data rate and low data arbitration phase. Meanwhile, ensuring immunity performance is one of the main issues in the CAN-FD using differential signals. In this paper, we define a CAN-FD Transceiver ICs’ immunity criterion and their selection method.
