We provide analytical expressions for the variance of the mean, variance, and Allan variance of a series of observations when taking correlation into account. Specific correlation models are adopted suitable for an insightful statistical analysis and for quantification of measurement uncertainty. An application to data measured in a reverberation chamber (RC) is also offered.
