Professional Society Student Programs and Activities

Most professional societies, including the IEEE and societies within the IEEE, have student programs. These programs often include discounted student membership fees, student chapters and organizations, and specific activities tailored toward student members. This panel session brings together leaders of student programs from various societies. Specifically, the panelists will discuss their current efforts, lessons learned from past experiences, successes and challenges regarding their student programs. The objective of this panel session is to educate the IEEE PES community on student programs and for the panelists to learn from each other and improve student programs within their respective societies.
