Panel Session 04 Aug 2020

Powering isolated communities in the Canadian North with clean and secure energy supplies is a cross-stakeholder priority with indigenous nations and communities, federal, provincial and territorial governments. In this panel, we will address the current efforts to tackle energy supply challenges in the North. These challenges are amplified by accelerating climate change and the desire of communities to take a significant stake in their development, taking into account their values and the local resources. Panelists represent a wide spectrum of governmental and local stakeholders, utilities and consulting firms.
