Panel Session 05 Aug 2020

In an extreme system situations, esp. power system restoration, inverters should be controlled adequately to improve system resilience. In the degraded island system, e.g. small islands with low inertia, the system stability might require different inverter controls than in normal system situations and configurations. Either these controls are efficient and stable also in normal operation or they need to be changed or parameterized for different system states. Experiences and advances in inverter controls will be presented and discussed. The focus is on power-electronic based power systems.
