Energy production and consumption have kept increasing as population and economies grow. The large-scale development and utilization of fossil energy have resulted in serious problems such as resource shortage, environmental pollution and climate change. To achieve a low-carbon economy, energy internet is among the few major technological development areas for energy and the next generation ICT technologies. It is the next level of smart grid technology aiming for more renewable penetrations and greater prosumer participations. In this panel, speakers from different countries will talk about their experience and good practices in this area and also the future trend.
