Power system today are facing high uncertainty from renewable generation, interchange, volatile load (expecially BTM generation), as well as the uncertainty related to gas pipeline with significant amount of natural gas generation. All these pose challenges on daily bulk power system operation. This panel will bring the panelists from bulk power system control centers around the world to share their current practices and challenges. This will serve as foundation for the future research on this direction.
