Hydrogen has been advocated as a promising energy carrier to achieve a low-carbon integration of transportation and power systems. Due to the advantage of zero-carbon and a wide industry application, hydrogen supply chain is developing into an important nexus closely linking transportation and energy networks. Green hydrogen can be generated from surplus renewable energy via water electrolysis, and the hydrogen can be stored for future combined heating and power or be transported to refuelling stations for fuel cell vehicles. Therefore, recent years have witnessed a rapid development of hydrogen economy and society across different countries. This panel will focus on: i) Architectures, business models and solution pathways for developing hydrogen society ii) Theory, methodology and practical applications of hydrogen-integrated transportation and power systems iii) Operation and planning method and practice for hydrogen-integrated virtual power plants iv) Market design and pricing mechanism for hydrogen economy and society
