This panel session is meant for reporting about Emerging Technologies for Decarbonization. This necessarily concerns integration of Distributed Energy Resources (DER), Electric Vehicles (EV), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) into the hitherto power system with conventional generation, transmission & distribution, and age-old categories of load-end consumers. Advancement in transmission as a medium to handle wide variation in power and energy is also another pertinent aspect to be discussed in this context.
Presentations in this panel session:
- Storage on University Campuses (23PESGM4069)
- Energy Transition and Net Zero initiatives (23PESGM4066)
- Real-time Test Setup to Accelerate Renewable Energy Integration (23PESGM4067)
- Roles of retailers in the peer-to-peer electricity market ñ A single retailer perspective (23PESGM4068)
