This panel session will focus on the numerous demonstration and deployment projects currently being carried out in the European Union. These projects are crucial for the safe and reliable operation of the interconnected power system of ENTSO-E. They have a significant impact on the national and international electrical energy infrastructure, enhance the European energy market, and contribute to the achievement of the EU's energy policy objectives. Some of these projects aim to facilitate the integration of renewable energy sources, while others seek to improve the interconnection and efficiency of existing power systems. The session will feature technical presentations from industry experts, utility professionals, and academia, providing an opportunity for professionals and stakeholders in the power engineering community to discuss recent advancements in the development of the European power grid and share experiences and best practices.
