Panel 12 Sep 2024

In a world increasingly defined by climate change, our future Energy Internet must be adaptable, robust, and sustainable. This panel is specifically designed to bridge the fields of climate and energy, focusing on future net-zero Energy Internet with large-scale renewable integration under intensifying climate risks. Our interdisciplinary panelists aim to present state-of-the-art research and perspective for climate-resilient Energy Internet that cover a wide spectrum from climate-energy resilience assessment to community-based energy resilience initiatives. This panel will offer forward-looking discussions that combine evolving shapes of future Energy Internet with climate projections under diverse emission pathways. The panel is designed for engineers, scientists, researchers, educators, students, industrial utility experts, and other stakeholders within the PES community. It is particularly relevant for those who have a strong interest in topics of climate change and energy transition.
