This panel session contains the following presentations:
1. Fault Analysis of Medium Voltage Bushing of 110kV Main Transformer Based on Infrared Accurate Temperature Measurement and Oil Chromatographic Analysis
The health condition of main transformer bushing is related to the safe operation of power grid. With the application of live monitoring technology, many defects such as heating of the bushing cap have been found through infrared temperature measurement. In this paper, a defect of middle voltage bushing of 110kV main transformer has been introduced. Firstly, through the long-term tracking of infrared measurement and oil chromatography analysis of the joint monitoring technology, it was found that the bushing body was hot. After power failure test and disintegration inspection, it was found that there were two obvious burning marks on the conductive rod in the bushing and the insulation resistance of the winding was not qualified, which verified the accuracy of the joint monitoring technology.

2. Analysis of a Corona Discharge Defect in Bushing of Switchgear
Partial discharge detection technology has been widely used in the insulation state evaluation of switchgear. The faults are mostly reflected in surface discharge of insulating parts, internal discharge of air gap and metal suspension discharge. This paper introduces a rare corona discharge fault of bushing through switchgear, analyzes the causes from multiple angles, and puts forward the operation and maintenance strategy, so as to provide technical experience for condition based maintenance of switchgear.

3. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Infrared Spectroscopy Method for Aging State of Composite Insulators
Composite insulators are widely used in power systems; however, the aging caused by long time operation threatens the safety of the power system. In order to detect the aging level of composite insulators, nuclear magnetic resonance analysis method is used in this paper to extract the characteristic quantity representing the aging status of silicon rubber insulators from the low-field nuclear magnetic resonance signal. This characteristic quantity can be used to explain the aging mechanism of insulator. Meanwhile, the composite insulator samples were analyzed by infrared spectroscopy. Compared the result of nuclear magnetic resonance analysis and infrared spectroscopy analysis, it was shown that the NMR measurement result of the composite insulator was consistent with the absorption peak of the outer layers of ir spectrum, both results could reflect the aging level of the composite insulator in a certain extent. When the aging level of insulator becomes higher, the value T2 of NMR becomes smaller and the absorption value of ir spectrum becomes lower.
