This multi-presenter tutorial discusses the implementation of renewable and energy storage technologies within remote and isolated power systems. The course will provide the opportunity for participants to build capacity across the core capabilities required to design, assess and successfully implement renewable integration. While every island power system project is unique, the tutorial identifies common skills required across projects, building capability and knowledge via a range of interactive exercises. The tutorial will use the extensive knowledge and experience to bring a pragmatic approach to integration of new technologies within remote and isolated systems. Participants will gain insights into issues specific to these technologies via interactive exercises and will have an opportunity to discuss a range of international case studies in detail.
