Hairpin windings offer several benefits compared to random windings. However, they feature increased losses in cores and windings. New winding concepts are thus required to mitigate these challenges. The webinar will review hairpin technologies, discussing opportunities, challenges and solutions for hairpin windings in electrical machines for transportation.
