This webinar is one in the series of DOE Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO) Open Energy Data Initiative - System Integration (OEDI-SI) webinar series.
OEDI-SI is currently developing key software tools, datasets novel distribution state estimation, control optimization, and transient event analyses. This initiative will enable users to have access to open-source data and algorithms along with ability to incorporate user-specific data to perform distribution-level analyses.
This webinar introduces ways to identify dynamic system models using measurement data. Six applications will be covered:
1 - Synchronous generator model parameter identification;
2 - Aggregated load model parameter identification;
3 - Reduced-order model identification for control design;
4 - Admittance model identification for subsynchronous resonance (SSR) screening;
5 - Electromechanical oscillation mode identification from phasor measurement unit (PMU) data; and
6 - Inverter-based resource dynamic modeling for stability analysis.
