Abstract: NACFE conducted their third Run on Less benchmarking demonstration in 2021 and it focused only on battery electric commercial freight trucks. There were 13 different OEMs and models of trucks operating in the hands of real fleets doing their normal daily work all over the United States and Canada. Each of the trucks was equipped with telematics reporting to NACFE to monitor daily operations. There is also an EV Truck Bootcamp series of 10 recorded webinars with dozens of experts talking about everything including incentives-grants, charging stations, utility companies, and even recycling batteries. All of this is available at no charge at Run on Less (Presented by NACFE and RMI)
Additionally, NACFE has been studying electric trucks for several years and has an extensive collection of reports to help both the logistics and utility industries: Electric Trucks - North American Council for Freight Efficiency (nacfe.org)
This webinar will be extremely helpful to a wide audience looking to become more sustainable with zero emissions commercial vehicles.
