Success of Self-Supervised Learning and its Transformative Effect on Modern Business

Modern NLP models are few shot learners, meaning that they can learn how
to carry out new tasks with just a handful of training examples. This
has a transformative effect on business as it is no longer necessary to
hand craft datasets consisting of tens/hundreds of thousands of samples
build AI models. The ability to develop AI with small number of training
data also empowers the domain experts that have limited AI knowledge
fully democratizing AI.
