In this article, an overview of some of the relevant issues in interconnection of distributed generation (DG) in distribution systems is provided. The issues discussed are related to voltage management in feeders with multiple DGs, voltage regulators, and other voltage/VAR control equipment. The possibility of multiple voltage management controllers interfering with each other in performing their actions is emphasized. The authors intend to bring the researchers' attention to these challenges and encourage further investigations.
