This article presents the lessons learned from two of the largest projects that explore ways for intelligently and cost-effectively managing demand: Customer Load Active System Services (CLASS) and My Electric Avenue (MEA). The former looks at managing demand by controlling voltages while the latter focuses on the control of electric vehicles.
