2015 marks a year of many firsts and great developments within the IEEE Smart Grid Initiative. In its sophomore year as a graduated initiative, IEEE Smart Grid has really made its mark as a growing technical community. Some successes have included doubling its global reach, development of content from world renowned experts, and collaboration among members from 14 societies. Most importantly, IEEE Smart Grid's developments have set the stage for the future and what it means for us all.
