The report describes cybersecurity issues that crosscut both Information Technology (IT) and Operations Technology (OT). The report leverages the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework (commonly known as the NIST CSF) to illustrate possible points of collaboration between IT and OT organizations within utilities. Where appropriate, each chapter of the report identifies the people, processes, and technology to facilitate better collaboration. Finally, the report concludes with identified gaps that are present impairments to the cooperation between IT and OT organizational units.
