This paper dicusses the issues related to the use of COMTRADE for exchange of Synchrophasor Data, develops a profile (scheme) to use COMTRADE for this purpose, reports on other formats that have been used such as �.dst�, and addresses issues that would arise in converting .dst and other formats to COMTRADE.
