Application of Power Circuit Breakers

We feel that a historical review of the standards evolution will be welcome by those engineers faced with the problem of specifying new circuit breakers intended to replace equipment that was manufactured in accordance to older standards. We also believe that an understanding of today most common type of circuit breakers and a review of typical application considerations will provide the necessary guidance for the proper selection and application of High Power Circuit Breakers.
