Power Systems Transient Recovery Voltages

This Seminar/Report has been prepared for those individuals responsible for the design, development, test and application of all types of switchgear that are utilized on power systems. Specifically this report addresses the subject of transient recovery voltage (TRV) that is associated with either normal circuit switching or fault interruption duty on the power system. The switchgear of interest in this report emcompasses all classes of circuit breakers, reclosers, switches, and fuses that may be applied to the power system.
