About the presenter:
John Yagielski is a graduate of Clarkson University (BSEE '90) and Rensselaer (MSEPE '93). He has worked at GE Power and GE Global Research in Schenectady, New York since 1990, most recently as the Senior Principal Engineer for Electric Machines within the Electric Power team at the Global Research Center. Since joining GRC, his focus has been on electric machines for hybrid aviation, as well as renewable power generation. For the previous 28 years he worked on or led teams developing and testing new air and hydrogen-cooled turbo-generators, with roles in both engineering and manufacturing quality. Mr. Yagielski has been an IEEE member for 25 years and is currently the Chair of the Power & Energy Society's Electric Machine Committee
